Human-Centric Project Management

Projects succeed when people feel heard, aligned, and supported. I train and coach project managers to move beyond task lists and lead with clarity, confidence, and collaboration.
My Background

I have led projects most of my career and have held the title of project manager officially since the early 2000’s. I moved from a regional distribution business to a Fortune 500 global building supply company to gain more experience in larger, more complex projects. I have  working mainly in the IT arena with experience in manufacturing and engineering project management. My projects have followed both waterfall and agile methodologies.

My PMI Chapter Connections

As the former President of the PMI Western Lake Erie chapter in Toledo, OH in the earlier 2000’s, I helped grow the chapter that exists today 25 years later. From 2023-2024 I served as the chapter’s VP of Communications, and I help lead special projects today.

My Teaching and Presenting Experience

I started presenting to PMI chapter meetings on the topics such as Project Manager as a Facilitator, Strategies for Making Changes Stick, Facilitating Remote Work with tools like Miro virtual whiteboard, and How To Capture Customer Requirements.

I have also been teaching a two-day course for PMI Training on How To Capture Customer Requirements and Develop Project Scope.

My LinkedIn Connection

I post on LinkedIn on a regular basis on the topics of project management, collaboration, remote work, facilitations, and better meetings. You can find my posts here in my blog as well which is supported by the ability to search by keyword. Check out his profile at: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffpanning/
