Love him or hate him, Nick Saban has made a difference.
Not because of the numbers, which were impressive:
✅ 7 national championships
✅ 292 wins
✅ 28 years of coaching
Instead, what impresses me the most is the legacy he left, which was the people’s lives he impacted. The players, his assistant coaches that went on to be head coaches, other coaches, etc.
According to Coach Saban, the goal was always to:
🏆 Help players create more value for their future
🏆 Help players be the best player they can be
🏆 Help players be more successful in life because they were part of the program
That’s a great lesson for leaders.
