Life is about learning and growing. Repeating what works. Improving what doesn’t work [the first time].

So why should the job search process be any different than your continuous improvement process at your last job?

Here are 5 tips to ensure you learn [and improve] while looking for a new [or your next] job:

✅ Regularly pause, reflect, and document what’s working and what’s not.
✅ Ask for feedback from interviewers on how you performed.
✅ Be consistent in the process you follow AND improve it.
✅ Set realistic goals each week. Then check to see how you did.
✅ Be honest with yourself if you don’t meet your goals. Why?

What else would you add to this list to be sure you are learning and improving throughout your job search process?
