Stories help to provide clarity, help people to see things in new ways, and organize our actions. Stories also provide connection and consistency.

Storytelling is an art that has been advanced by Pixar Studios. If you have seen a Pixar movie, you will probably understand. Each movie flows through six stages to accomplish the things mentioned in the opening paragraph.

1. Once upon a time, there was…
2. Every day…
3. One day…
4. Because of that…
5. Because of that…
6. Until finally…

“Strategy must rank as one of the most prominent, and costly stories told in organizations”. Greg Githens.
