Yes, we need to actually engage the people doing the impacted work. Not their supervisor or manager speaking for them, who may miss the important nuances and details of how the work is done.
Not just about the changes that have been decided upon. That’s sometimes TOO LATE.
The people impacted by the changes should have been engaged and consulted back when the changes were being considered.
They should have been listened to and their concerns, suggestions and questions should have been addressed.
THIS is the best way to initiate, execute, and make changes.
THIS will lead to accelerated adoption and making changes stick.
