Want to decrease the number of meetings for your team? Try using more asynchronous collaboration.

Instead of face-to-face real-time meetings, you could try one of the following tools for asynchronous collaboration.

Note: I left email off this list because there are so many others that are more effective.

  • Microsoft Teams, Slack, Google Chat
  • Project Management tools like Asana, Trello, Monday (dot) com
  • Collaborative document editors like Office 365, Google Docs, Notion
  • File sharing and cloud storage like Microsoft OneDrive and Google Drive
  • Wikis to share information
  • Messaging apps like WhatsApp and Telegraph
  • Blogging platforms like WordPress, Blogger and Medium

Are you using any of these instead of meeting synchronously?
