I have been posting about the secrets to high performing teams over the past several weeks. We have looked at the first 5 secrets and there are 7 more to come.

Today, I am pausing to summarize the first five and ask for some feedback. Which secret do you connect with the most? Are there any that you have tried?

Here are the first five secrets:

#5 – Perfection is the enemy of progress. Provide regular imperfect updates within short feedback loops to continue making progress.

#4 – The best outcomes emerge from cross-functional teams that are supported by servant leadership.

#3 – At regular intervals, the team reflects on how to become more effective, then adjusts it’s behavior accordingly.

#2 – Build a team of motivated people and surround them with trust, respect, support, transparency, and empowerment to get the job done.

#1: The highest priority of a high-performing team is to satisfy their customers, through early & ongoing progress, to solve their problems.
