How do you approach new things – A new position, new job, new project?

When I do this, I go into what I refer to “sponge mode”.

This means…

üßΩ I put an emphasis on my listening skills and soak up as much information and data points from others as possible.

üßΩ I seek diverse input from as many people as possible and keep in mind that everyone I speak with will likely help me learn something.

üßΩ Then, I form insights from the data collected. This forms my approach and plans for whatever is new to me.
