5 ways to make sure your next training session doesn’t flop.

Getting training right is hard. It takes experience and focus on the right things, like:

‚≠ê Assign a training coordinator. It’s important to have one person oversee all the planning and preparation to ensure everything is truly ready.

⭐ Confirm audience needs and skill levels. Make sure the trainer and audience are aligned on the curriculum and desired outcomes so there are no surprises.

‚≠ê Make sure all the software, hardware, test data, materials (and more) are available and ready. Set clear expectations on who’s responsible for each and make sure they will be around if issues arise.

⭐ Set expectations clearly about whether this will be an in-person, remote, or hybrid training session and make plans appropriately so everyone has the same experience.

⭐ Perform a pre-morten risk assessment to identify everything that could go wrong so you can properly address the risks with the highest impact and probability of occuring.
